Who is responsible for this website?

This website is operated by Mitchell Schavemaker. As the data controller, Mitchell Schavemaker is responsible for the collection and processing of personal data on this site. Contact details are provided in the Impressum.

What personal data do we collect?

This website collects personal data only when you voluntarily submit the contact form. The data collected includes your name, email address, and the message content you provide. No other personal data is collected automatically (e.g. no analytics cookies, no tracking scripts).

Why do we process your data?

Your data is processed solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. The contact form submission is the only mechanism through which personal data is collected on this site.

What is the legal basis for processing?

Processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests, specifically the legitimate interest in responding to a direct enquiry initiated by you. Where the enquiry relates to a potential contractual relationship, Article 6(1)(b) may also apply.

How long is your data retained?

This website does not store contact form submissions in a database. Upon submission, your data is transmitted to Mitchell Schavemaker's email inbox via a transactional email service (Resend) and is subject to the email provider's standard retention policies. The website itself retains no personal data after transmission.

Who receives your data?

Your submitted data is processed by Resend (transactional email provider) to deliver the contact notification to Mitchell Schavemaker's inbox. The website is hosted on Vercel, which processes request data as part of CDN delivery. Both Resend and Vercel are GDPR-compliant data processors. Your data is not shared with any other third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right of access (Art. 15), the right to rectification (Art. 16), the right to erasure (Art. 17), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18), the right to data portability (Art. 20), and the right to object (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77), in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

How to contact us

To exercise your rights or submit a data-related enquiry, please contact Mitchell Schavemaker via the contact form on this website or by email. Contact details are listed in the Impressum.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set non-essential cookies and does not load any analytics or tracking scripts. No consent banner is required because no tracking occurs. If analytics are added in future, this section will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented before any tracking begins.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in data processing practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of this website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
